Susan Lordi's emotional sculptures were introduced in January of 2000 with 1 figurine, 15 angels and the Nativity. The line as grown to encompass those sentiments that we want most to express, to our friends, family, our children’s teachers, and those near and far. Artist Susan Lordi hand carves each original with this in mind.
The sculptures are rendered so as to suggest elegance, simplicity, peace and serenity. Forms reveal their expressions through body gestures only, a tilt of the head, placement of hands, and a turn of the body. Emotions are left for the viewer to discover which makes them personal and powerful.
